Taking time to say thanks...
Anyone else feel like they feel asleep on Halloween and woke up to the week before Thanksgiving? Regardless, November has sure slipped through our fingers but we didn’t want to leave it without some message for our Students. So, we are combining what is left of November and December to bring you one Holiday message. That message is take time to say thanks and specifically THANK YOU!
It is so important in life to take time to share your thanks with those around you – whether it is your friends, your family, your coworkers, your teachers, your classmates, or a stranger. A lot of times, we take for granted those that do the most for us – like our parents and teachers – but taking the time to say thanks can make a big difference to those people. I can tell you from a mother’s (and former teacher’s) perspective that an authentic “Thank you” from a child can go a long way to improving my mood and lifting me up. Showing appreciation to our friends, classmates, and coworkers can turn someone’s day around and just show that you care. We encourage you to use every opportunity you get this holiday season to say thank you.
In the spirit of saying thank you, we also want to take this opportunity to say thank you to you. THANK YOU!! Thank you for checking in with us and coming to see what we are talking about this month. Thank you for supporting our program and for commenting and sharing our information. We work very hard to try to bring you medically accurate, age-appropriate, fact-based information about sexual health without an agenda beyond providing you information and tools so that you can make the choice that is best for you. We know that there are lots of places on the internet to go to get information about sexual health, so thank you for coming to us. We hope that you continue to find value in the information we are sharing.
Regardless of what Holidays you will be celebrating between now and the end of the year, we hope you all have a wonderful holiday season full of Holiday Thanks!
We would love to know who you have taking time to say thank you to – share your stories by commenting here or on social media using #HolidayThanks and #hrhniMAD!
